WHAT IS IT
Each spread pairs a single-solution sudoku puzzle with a journal prompt. The puzzle settles your mind. The prompt gives it somewhere honest to go.
No screens. No notifications. Just a pencil, a puzzle, and a few minutes of presence.
The prompts follow a deliberate arc — starting with simple awareness and building toward deeper self-reflection. It's not random. It's a practice.
Where in your body are you holding tension right now? Describe the shape of it.
HOW IT WORKS
Begin with the sudoku puzzle. Let the logic quiet the noise. There's no timer — just focus until the grid is full.
Read the journal prompt on the facing page. Sit with it for a moment. Let your first honest thought surface.
Put it on the page. One line or ten. There are no rules about length — only that you write what's true.
THE JOURNEY
Pure sensory awareness. What can you see, hear, smell, taste right now?
"Describe the weather right now without using the word 'nice' or 'bad'."
Directing your attention outward with more intention. What did you miss today?
"What was the best ten minutes of your day?"
Turning inward. Where's the tension? What haven't you named?
"If someone asked how you were and you told the truth, what would you say?"
Looking backward. Childhood rooms, old songs, the things that shaped you.
"What's a smell that sends you instantly to a specific memory?"
The harder questions. What are you avoiding? What no longer fits?
"What are you avoiding and what would happen if you just looked at it?"
Looking forward. Permission, desire, what your life could be.
"Describe the life you want using only verbs."
